Purpose
Sometimes, it is advantageous to be able to manually trigger a level crossing to close. For a route to be set over a crossing, it must be secured. The BÜFT button secures a crossing once it has been closed.
Operation
To secure a level crossing, press the BÜFT button together with the button of the level crossing being secured. If the crossing is not closed, the operation has no effect.
Once a level crossing has been secured, the square lock light above the crossing button becomes lit.
