Purpose
Sometimes it is necessary to keep a level crossing closed indefinitely. The DET button is used to close and keep closed a crossing, while the DELT button allows the level crossing to open again.
Operation
To keep a level crossing closed press the DET button together with the main button of the level crossing. Notice that both the DET and the DELT button have a yellow dot on them - this indicates that the buttons only work when a level crossing main button is pressed. A main level crossing button is yellow while a secondary level crossing button is grey.
