Pressing the HuT silences the acoustic signal. The Signal Fault indicator ('''S''') and the signal's stop indicator (if applicable) keep flashing.
In case a Subsidiary Signal is set you might also encounter that the horn is activated as well as the Subsidiary Signal Fault indicator ('''Ers'''). This means that the Subsidiary Signals is in error. Press the [[Stop Signal Button]] (HaGT) together with the relevant signal button to switch off the Subsidiary Signal Fault indicator (Ers). The horn is silenced by pressing the HuT.

Purpose

Buzzer interruption button (signal failure)

When a signal has a defect, a horn will sound to alert the dispatcher. The horn can be silenced by pressing the Buzzer interruption button (HuT) .

Operation

In case of a defective signal the Signal Fault indicator (S) will be flashing and a horn sounds. The affected signal's stop indicator is either flashing or extinguished. Pressing the HuT silences the acoustic signal. The Signal Fault indicator (S) and the signal's stop indicator (if applicable) keep flashing.

In case a Subsidiary Signal is set you might also encounter that the horn is activated as well as the Subsidiary Signal Fault indicator (Ers). This means that the Subsidiary Signals is in error. Press the Stop Signal Button (HaGT) together with the relevant signal button to switch off the Subsidiary Signal Fault indicator (Ers). The horn is silenced by pressing the HuT.
