Purpose
Normally a level crossing is deactivated automatically as soon as a train has passed it. The Level Crossing Auxiliary Button (HAT) is used to manually deactivate a level crossing..
Operation
All train routes and overlap routes via the level crossing must be revoked before operating the HAT !
Pressing the HAT together with a Track Button will revoke the securing, as far as existing for the track, and deactivates the level crossing. In case the level crossing has been secured for more than one tracks, the securing must be revoked for each individual track first. After that the levelcrossing will be deactivated..

Examples and Note
Zwei Szenarien machen die Nutzung der HAT erforderlich:
- Die Freigabe des BÜ wird nicht wie vorgesehen hinter dem Zug aufgelöst.
- Die Zugfahrt findet nicht statt. Dies kann der Fall sein, wenn
- eine falsche Fahrstraße eingestellt wurde,
- der BÜ fälschlicherweise gleisbezogen mit der Level Crossing Manually Close Button eingeschaltet wurde oder
- der Zug nicht abfahren kann, zum Beispiel wegen einer Störung.
Es muss sichergestellt sein, dass kein Zug den BÜ befährt, bevor die HAT benutzt wird! In den meisten Fällen ist dies durch die zwingende Auflösung der Fahrstraßen gegeben, aber man sollte darauf achten, dass wirklich alle Züge rechtzeitig zum Halten kommen.
