Hey - maybe I can help. The sentence simply means that typing dashes/hyphens in a fax number will work. Leaving the hyphens out also works. Example:
12345-67
is the same as
1234567
So if it is easier to type the number '''with''' the hyphen, then that works. If it is easier to type the number '''without''' the hyphen, that also works too!

Hey - maybe I can help. The sentence simply means that typing dashes/hyphens in a fax number will work. Leaving the hyphens out also works. Example:

12345-67

is the same as

1234567

So if it is easier to type the number with the hyphen, then that works. If it is easier to type the number without the hyphen, that also works too!
