Purpose

Normally, level crossings close automatically as trains approach. The ASpT button disables the automatic closing of a level crossing. This is useful when there are shunt movements (or any kind of movement) that may approach the crossing but not pass the crossing.

Operation

To prevent the automatic closure of a level crossing, press the ASpT button together with the button of the level crossing. When the level crossing no longer closes automatically, the a red light next to the level crossing button on the panel becomes lit.
