Purpose
Sometimes it is necessary to keep a level crossing closed indefinitely. The DET button is used to close and keep closed a crossing, while the DELT button allows the level crossing to open again.
Operation
To allow a level crossing closed to open after having been kept closed, press the DELT button together with the main button of the level crossing. Notice that both the DET and the DELT button have a yellow dot on them - this indicates that the buttons only work when a level crossing main button is pressed. A main level crossing button is yellow while a secondary level crossing button is grey.
