Purpose

The Lock Switch button (WSpt) is used to manually lock a switch.

Operation

To lock a switch, press WSpt, together with the button of the switch being locked. For double or single slip switches, the switch being locked depends on the current switch selection (KWT). Unlocking is done in a similar manner using WESpT

Result

Once a switch has been manually locked, the switch's red manual lock lock light becomes lit. Any attempts to throw the switch (either manually, using WGT, or as a result of setting a route) are prevented.
