Alternatieve Rijweg Knop

Vaak zijn er tussen twee seinen meerdere rijwegen mogelijk. Bij het instellen van een rijweg zal het systeem trachten de best mogelijk rijweg te vinden. In de meeste gevallen betekent dit dat, indien mogelijk, het meest direct pad gekozen zal worden. De treindienstleider heeft weinig controle over welke route gekozen wordt - meestal is dit acceptabel aangezien de meest optimale route gebruikt zal worden.
In bijzondere gevallen is het nodig om een alternatieve rijweg te kiezen. Het kiezen van een specifieke alternatieve rijweg wordt gedaan met behulp van de Alternatieve Rijweg (UFGT) knop.
Bediening
UFGT works by finding a route that does not require the throwing of switches. It is the dispatcher's job to first throw the desired switches manually using the WGT button. Once the switches have been thrown, and are in their end positions, press UFGT. Then, press the start and end signal buttons together. No switches will be thrown! If the alternate route exists and can otherwise be set, the rest of the route setting proceeds normally.
Obviously, this requires more work on the part of the dispatcher due to the manual throwing of switches. But, very indirect routes can chosen explicitly.
Revoking and other operations occur normally also.
