Purpose

This indicator (known in German as the Tastensperrmelder (literally, "locked buttons indicator") provides feedback to the dispatcher regarding certain input commands.

Operation

Locked Buttons Indicator


This indicator is

  • dark (off): when a route is set using the buttons on the panel.
  • red: a route is being set using the DET or the auto-fleeting of a signal is currently setting a route.
  • red blinking: the dispatcher has executed a command which cannot be executed by the interlocking system (e.g. throwing a switch using WGT, whilst the switch is (manually) locked)
