Operation

The permission from the other dispatcher will be required in order to be able to set a train or shunting route into the other area of responsibility within the same signal box.

This can be done in two ways: by means of partial routes or by using the Cooperation Group Button as described below.

When a train or shunt route is set across the border of the area of responsibility, the route can be set, however the start signal will only change to Proceed when:

  • Train route The ZGT button is operated together with the signal end button. After operating this combination of buttons, the overlap route and train route will be locked, and so the start signal will change to Proceed.
  • Shunt route: The ZGT button is operated together with the signal end button. After the operation the start signal changes to the Proceed aspect.
