Purpose
Block signals in a central block (Zentralblock) have, similar to signals in a station, a Route set indicator. This indicator illuminates when the central block is triggered (by setting a route into the track), and normally goes off shortly after the train has passed the signal. If it does not go off, you can resolve this manually using Block Signal Auxiliary Button (ZbHT).
Operation
The ZbHT must be pressed together with the signal button of the signal, of which the route lock needs to be released. The route set indicator next to signal will go off then.
There is a counter next to this group button as operating the ZbHT is subject to documentation.
Example of Use
As long as the Route Set indicator is lit a signal, at the begin of a route leading towards the block signal, can not change to Proceed. In case the Route set lock is not reset by the train (e.g. due to a fault), the track can no longer be used. The ZbHT provides a remedy here.
