Purpose
When a train travels over a switch such that the switch position is forced into the opposite position, the switch is said to be "trailed". This is dangerous, as the switch may not be completely in it's end position, and could damage or derail other traffic.
Operation
When a switch becomes trailed, a buzzer will sound, and both branches of the switch will light up. To fix the situation, the Trailed Switch Reset Button (WAT) must be pressed together with the button of the trailed switch. This ensures that the switch is in a defined end position, and not in a dangerous and undefined "in-between" position. This also extinguishes the buzzer.
A counter next to the button will increment. This number is useful for documenting the action in the log.
