Bevor Sie zum ersten Mal auf einem Stellwerk Dienst schieben, müssen Sie sich mit den Örtlichkeiten vertraut machen und über die Besonderheiten informieren. Nach der allgemeinen Ausbildung zum Stellwerkswärter wurden die angehenden Fahrdienstleiter immer wochenlang neben einen Fachmann auf dem Stellwerk eingesetzt. Dieses Kapitel ist diese erste Einweisung für Sie als Fahrdienstleiter. Lesen Sie es sorgfältig durch. Es enthält sehr wichtige Angaben aus der Praxis.
Der Text ist von “Kollege zu Kollege” geschrieben, als ob Sie auf dem Stellwerk sind, den ersten Tag nach der Ausbildung.

Stellwerk Roisdorf
Grundlagen
Das Stellwerk Remagen liegt an der zweigleisigen, elektrifizierten Hauptstrecke 'Linke Rheinstrecke', Streckennummer 2630 von Köln nach Mainz zwischen den Bahnhöfen Bonn-Mehlem und Brohl.
Die Nachbarn
Rechts oben (Gleise 922/902) schließt sich der Stellbereich des Fdl Bonn Hbf (KB). Hier ist GWB eingerichtet.
Links oben (Gleise 041/042) verlässt uns die Rheinstrecke Richtung Sechtem (KSEC). GWB ist auch hier eingerichtet.
Roisdorf
Normally we have Roisdorf running in Sellbstbetrieb (auto fleeting) as all traffic goes via track 1 for trains from Sechtem towards Bonn Hbf, and via track 2 for traffic from Bonn Hbf towards Sechtem (and onwards into the direction of Köln).
The series SE 3500 and RB 7300 are the only services which stop at Roisdorf.
On the line towards Bonn Hbf we have two level crossings (km 26.540 and km 27.385) with full barriers. If a route has been set and the barriers have closed, we need to confirm that the level crossing is free of other traffic. You will hear a bell ringing as long as the barriers are closing. Secure the level crossing with the BüFT group button and the yellow dotted button of the level crossing. (* this is an expert option)

Gleiswechselbetrieb (GWB)
Wir können in unserem Stellwerksbezirk in beiden Richtungen auf der Rheinstrecke GWB benutzen. Das fahren im GWB hat allerdings seine Tücken, weil aus dem GWB nicht in alle Gleise eingefahren werden kann, bzw aus allen Gleisen in den GWB gewechselt werden kann.
Folgende Gleise können nicht aus dem GWB erreicht werden:
- Richtung Norden <--
- keine
- Richtung Süden -->
- Roisdorf Gleis 1
Aus diesen Gleisen ist eine Ausfahrt in den GWB nicht möglich:

- Richtung Süden -->
- Roisdorf Gleis 1
Auf den Strecken zwischen den Bahnhöfen befinden sich Erlaubnisfelder. Das bedeutet du musst vor dem Fahren im GWB die Erlaubnis mit der Erlaubnisgruppentaste wechseln. Du muss den Zug richtung Sechtem oder Bonn Hbf natürlich zuerst anbieten.
